If you’re new here, say hello and tell us a little about yourself. You do not need to share anything personal you are not comfortable sharing.

A few easy things you can answer:

• What brought you to Free and United?
• What topics are you most interested in?
• What kinds of discussions would you like to see here?
• What do you hope this community can become?

You can keep it short or write as much as you want.

The goal is simply to get to know the people behind the usernames and start building a community where different perspectives can actually talk to each other.

I’ll start in the replies.

This community was created for people who are tired of division, shallow arguments, political theater, and being told what to think.

The goal here is simple: learn, question, discuss, and build something better together.

You do not have to agree with everyone here. In fact, you probably won’t. Different opinions are welcome. What matters is how we handle those disagreements.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Challenge ideas, not people.
• Bring sources when making major claims.
• Be willing to admit when something is uncertain.
• Ask questions before assuming motives.
• Keep discussion respectful, even when the subject is difficult.
• No threats, harassment, doxxing, spam, or calls for violence.

Free and United is still growing, and early members have a real opportunity to help shape what this community becomes.

If you’re new, your next stop should be the Introduce Yourself topic. Say hello, tell us what brought you here, and share the kinds of conversations or topics you’d like to see.

Thanks for being here.

Free minds. United people.
